Contract Name: USAID/Feed the Future Policy Leadership, Interactions, Networks and Knowledge (Policy LINK)
Status: Short Term Technical Assistance
Number of Positions: Up to 3
Period of Performance: December 1, 2024, to November 30, 2025
Duty Station: Dhaka, with travel to selected regions within Bangladesh

The USAID Feed the Future Policy LINK project aims to enhance leadership and collaboration in policy systems to support agriculture and food security priorities. Our focus is on strengthening the leadership capacity of local actors to foster sustainable growth and policy reform.
Youth Leadership Development & Gender (LDG) Program
DAI is launching the Youth LDG initiative to empower future leaders in Bangladesh’s agriculture sector. This program, lasting approximately 3.5 months, focuses on developing leadership skills in university students to influence local policymaking and drive sustainable development.
Key Objectives of the LDG Program:
- Explore Leadership Skills: Cultivate essential leadership qualities among students.
- Reflect on Leadership Practice: Encourage students to apply leadership skills in their activities.
- Collaborate on Action Learning Projects: Engage teams in projects to enhance participation in local policy processes.
- Apply Leadership Skills: Provide real-world experience through project implementation.
Expected Outcomes:
- Enhanced leadership capacity among participants.
- Contributions to inclusive and evidence-informed decision-making.
- Practical experience in leadership roles for future opportunities.
Consultant Scope of Work
Consultants will:
- Co-design the LDG curriculum.
- Facilitate in-person training and After Action Reviews.
- Support Action Learning Project teams.
- Prepare monthly progress reports.
- Co-facilitate wrap-up events.
Tasks and Timeline:
- Curriculum Design: 10 days
- Training Facilitation: 15 days
- After Action Reviews: 2 days
- Monthly Touch-bases: 5 days
- Monthly Reports: 3 days
- Wrap-up Events: 8 days
Total Level of Effort: 43 days per consultant
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Degree in leadership, gender studies, sociology, psychology, or related field.
- Experience in leadership development and coaching.
- Skills in training design and facilitation.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Experience working with young adults (ages 18-29).
